Key Information:

Office Administrator (Part Time)

£9.18 per hour.

Hours: 20 hours per week (Hours of work negotiable over 5 Days)

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.

Maidstone Mind was established in 1979 and is affiliated to National Mind, a leading mental health charity. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people who are experiencing mental health issues by providing well-respected recovery based community services, high quality information and advice.

We actively promote positive wellbeing and  provide support to individuals, carers and families through a wide range of diverse services. The role will include assisting with general customer enquiries, telephone enquiries and administration tasks.

The right candidate must have commitment, drive, a ‘can do’ attitude, as well as being conscientious, pro-active and possess excellent attention to detail. You must be a confident and exceptional communicator. This is an exceptionally busy environment and resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure is key.  It is important that you have excellent IT skills, including, not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

The main role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administration of Help Emails
  • Lamplight database recording
  • Counselling administration support;

      – Client contact

      – Information pack

      – Data entry

      – Post

      – Client contact – room availability

      – Ensuring client details are passed to Lead Counsellor for assessment

      – Administration of did not attend letter

      – Counselling diary

  • General Finance Administration & support

      – Gift Aid

      – Sage50 accounts entry

  • Any other ad-hoc requirements
