One in four of us experience a mental health problem every year – although that number is much more likely to now be one in three. Our Mental Health Awareness training aims to build awareness of the prevalence of mental health, but also help people to understand the particular problems and challenges which others may be facing.
To do this we break our Mental Health Awareness Training into the following five modules:
Stress, Anxiety and Depression. This course helps people to understand how stress is a contributing factor to nearly every mental health problem, and also explores in more detail what Anxiety and Depression are and the signs and symptoms of these problems.
Self-Harm. This course helps people to understand why someone may choose to self-harm, and the alternatives which can be put in place to help a person to find other methods of coping.
Eating Disorders. This course helps people to understand some of the most prevalent Eating Disorders, what they may look like, and the support which is out there to help someone struggling with one of these problems.
Personality Disorders. This course helps people to understand more about some of the most prevalent Personality Disorders which people may experience by breaking them down and helping people to explore what they may look like.
Psychosis. This course helps people to understand more about Psychosis whilst also breaking through some of the more stigmatising and negative associations which are often made with this mental health problem.
