Face-To-Face Bi-Polar Support Group For people who live in Maidstone.

Mid Kent Mind have been funded by Livewell Kent to provide several different Support Groups which will provide people with the opportunity to benefit from peer-to-peer support whilst also allowing them to better understand the things which they may be experiencing in their own lives.

These groups aim to provide a safe and welcoming online space. Moderated by a member of Mid Kent Mind’s Wellbeing Worker team, these ZOOM sessions will be an opportunity for people to share their own life experiences whilst also helping others to develop their understanding of their own mental health and how they can proactively manage it in positive ways.

Our Bi-Polar Support Group will take place on the second Thursday of every month.

Each session will last for an hour and a half. Sessions will begin on the 11th of November.

These sessions are taking place in a face-to-face capacity – with the aim being to bring people together in our building in Maidstone to share their life experiences and access support.

These sessions can be accessed by people living in Maidstone and the surrounding areas.

The address for these sessions is as follows:

Mid Kent Mind Wellbeing Centre, 23 College Road, Maidstone, ME15 6YH.

These sessions are available free-of-charge, and we hope that we will be able to build a good cohort of people who attend on a monthly basis so we can really encourage people to share their experiences and support each other in positive ways.

Keep an eye on this webpage for more details on this Support Group – including how to get involved – as soon as we have details on them.
