Youth Wellbeing Cafe (For Ages 16-21). 8-week pilot starting 12th of February 2021.

Mid Kent Mind are proud to be offering a brand-new Weekly Youth Wellbeing Cafe starting on the 12th of February 2021 – which will run for an initial 8-week pilot to gage demand and engagement.

We understand that young people who are in higher education are facing incredible stress during this pandemic – with extensive disruption to their education, and long hours spent isolated in student accommodation. Our goal with this group is simple – to provide a safe and welcoming space where young people can come along, socialise and benefit from peer-to-peer support.

Sessions will run every Friday from 5:30pm til 6:30pm, and will also provide opportunities for young people to benefit from peer-to-peer support, as well as providing the chance to engage in our fun weekly Mindful Quiz.

Staff from Mid Kent Mind will also be on hand to facilitate this group, and to provide support for any of the needs which young people may have. These sessions are available on a drop-in basis, but pre-notification of attendance is welcomed, and will guarantee your place if we get busy and find it necessary to restrict attendances.

The group can be joined on a Friday night by clicking this link.
