Wellbeing Watersports Morning A chance to try new activities.

Mid Kent Mind have partnered up with Mote Park Watersports Centre to provide an interactive morning for young people who have engaged with our services beforehand – all funded as a part of our Reaching Communities programme.

This is a great opportunity for young people to build their confidence out on the water – engaging with fun activities at their own speed. The team from Mote Park Watersports Centre will enable young people to try different activities – including paddle-boarding, kayaking, pedaloes and more.

The day will start from 9:30am – where young people will be registered and will also receive a safety briefing.

It is important that young people are on-site to receive this briefing so that they are able to safely go onto the water. Young people will then get two hours on the water – from 10am until midday.

MKM’s Wellbeing Team will be present throughout the morning, and we ask that Parents/Guardians also remain on site so that they are available to provide any support that their young people need. Parking is available on site for the duration of the session for £2.

This session has been funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and is available for young people who have engaged with our services in the past to further enhance their wellbeing.

The session will take place on the 31st of May.
