Mid Kent Mind are delighted to have been awarded funding from Sport England, through Versus Arthritis, to provide ‘Wellbeing Workouts’ in partnership with the team at Hermitage Park Community Centre.
Please find below details of the upcoming Wellbeing Workout groups
- 2nd of May to 6th June from 9:30am – 11:30am
- 13th June to 18th July from 9:30am – 11.30am
- 25th July to 29th August from 9:30am – 11:30am
Each programme will last for six-weeks – with participants expected to attend a once-weekly session over the six week duration.
Sessions will start with an hour wellbeing discussion in an informal setting themed around the Six Ways to Wellbeing. This discussion will elevate your mood – boosting you, whilst also sharing tools and techniques which you can use to practice self-care.
The second half of this session will then be lead by a qualified instructor – enabling you to take part in physical accessible physical activities.
Sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We are particularly keen to support individuals who may not otherwise be confident engaging with physical activity.
This is an opportunity for you to engage in a warm and supportive environment at your own pace.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing so they are able to engage with the sessions positively.
