Open Access Community Activity Groups Come and join us over the Winter Months.

We are delighted to share that we have received funding from Golding Homes to provide open-access Community Activity Groups across November & December – meaning that people in need of additional support over the Winter months can come along and attend our sessions.

We know that this Winter will be more challenging than many beforehand, so we know how important it is for our services to be available and accessible. This service, alongside our drop-in Cafe service in Maidstone, aim to provide wraparound support to people who are in need currently.

You can find more details on the sessions which will be available over the Winter months below:

Mindfulness – 3 Weeks Starting on the 6th December 2022

Join us for an open-access Mindfulness Group which will help you to learn more about Mindfulness over a 3-week period. Come along, meet other people and learn about how Mindful techniques can be used to help you manage your mental health.

Sessions will take place on Tuesday 6th December, Thursday 15th December and Thursday 22nd December.

Sessions will run between 10am and 11:30am.

Crafts – 3 Weeks Starting On 29th November 2022

Join us for an open-access Crafts Group where you will get to take part in a fun art project over the course of 3 weeks. Come along, discover new creative skills, and have a chance to meet other people who may have shared life experience.

Sessions will take place on Tuesday 29th November, Tuesday 6th December and Tuesday 13th December.

Sessions will run between 2pm and 3:30pm.

These sessions are open-access, but registration ahead of time would be beneficial as it will allow us to ascertain numbers for each session and plan accordingly.

To register your interest for a session, please e-mail mindhelp@midkentmind.org.uk.

Thank you to Golding Homes for making these sessions possible. Without their generous support, we would not be able to provide this support to our community.
