HeadStart Kent have funded Youth Mental Health First Aid training and Online Training for any individuals who work with young people across Kent. The training is aimed to better empower those who work with young people with the tools and knowledge to make a positive difference to the mental health of the young people they work with.
Courses focus particularly on spotting the signs of potential ill mental health within a young person, and encourage a proactive response – in the similar way physical first aid would be applied proactively.
Please note that from March, bookings will be handled by Kent Children’s Safeguarding Board.
