Whilst disruption continues as a direct impact of COVID-19, our Youth Recovery Action Plans will be available to young people digitally, instead of by face-to-face delivery. This will allow us to adhere to current government guidance around COVID-19, and will also mean that we are still able to offer young people support which they will benefit from.
Digital YRAPS are available as a part of the Reaching Communities Programme, and will be delivered through a Digital Platform known as ZOOM. You can install ZOOM by clicking here. Alternatively, these may be delivered via Telephone instead.
If you were already receiving YRAPs from Mid Kent Mind, then every effort will be made to transfer these appointments to a digital medium so that you can continue to receive support.
Youth Recovery Action Plans are designed to offer 1 To 1 Youth Support to young people who may benefit more from individual support instead of group-based activities.
The Recovery Action Plan (RAP) has been designed to allow individuals to take a holistic look at their life and identify areas where they can take action to help their wellbeing.
RAPS are tailored specifically for people who may benefit from support in a more one-to-one environment. With the support of a Wellbeing Worker, young people are able to set realistic, timely goals in areas of need.
The Recovery Action Plan will cover the following areas:
- Managing My Wellbeing and Anger
- Physical Health and Self-Care
- Living Skills
- Social Networks
- Identity and Self Esteem
- Addictive / Challenging Behaviour
To book your young person’s space, please E-Mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks to funding from Kent County Council, we also now have additional free places available for young people who live in Kent.
