FREE Clay Making Workshops Dream Catching Window Mobile Spaces available for ages 9-17. Book now!

We are delighted to be partnering up with Brenda Burgess Arts to provide FREE Clay Making Workshops for young people between the ages of 9 & 17 on June 1st 2023! These sessions are designed to promote positive wellbeing in young people. Sessions are available for young people who live in Maidstone or Swale.

If your young person would like the opportunity to try something new, then this is a great opportunity for them to get hands on with clay – learning how to mould and shape their own creations with the support and guidance of someone who teaches people different creative techniques.

During these sessions, your young person will have the opportunity to create their own Dream Catching Window Mobile – something which will then be taken away and fired in a clay kiln before they will be able to return to our office to collect it.

We will be providing two sessions on the 1st of June.

Our morning session will run between 10am and 12:30pm.

Our afternoon session will run between 1:30pm and 4pm.

Sessions take place at 23 College Road, Maidstone, ME15 6YH.

Spaces are available free-of-charge thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. To book a space for your young person, please complete the form found below.

Spaces on these sessions are now full. Please stay tuned as we will share photos after this session.

If you have any questions about these sessions, you can e-mail Mid Kent Mind’s team directly via bookings@midkentmind.org.uk. Please note that we only have a limited number of spaces available, so we advise people to book early to avoid disappointment.
