What is IAPT?
IAPT is free, time-limited therapy which is available on the NHS through the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme. IAPT therapy can include components of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and it can be beneficial for people suffering from mild to moderate conditions including anxiety disorders and depression. IAPT may not, however, be appropriate for people experience more severe problems.
