Since Mid Kent Mind services have returned to our building in a gradual increase in face-to-face services, we have been conscious that many of our clients who have preferred to access support virtually may be excluded by the gradual decrease in online support which is available to them. It’s important we acknowledge that not everyone can come into our building to access support – and this is feedback which we have taken on board to help with further shaping the services we offer in our local communities.
We are delighted to share, that, thanks to your continued feedback, we have made the decision to self-fund a trial for a Virtual ZOOM Social Group, which will run from January until March in a trial capacity to gage attendance level and the continued demand for this type of service.
This service will be entirely self-funded by our organisation – hence the necessity to run this as an initial pilot service. We are hopeful that this will provide a much needed additional piece of support for our clients every year. The aim is for this social group to be open and accessible to anyone. You do not need to be registered with our other services to access this – but you will need to be registered with Mid Kent Mind.
Sessions will run for 90 minutes every Monday, starting on the 10th of January. Sessions will be available from 10am until 11:30am.
