Mid Kent Mind have received funding from Sport England through Active Kent & Medway to provide a Walking Group for clients in and around the Maidstone area – enabling them to get out and embrace the benefits which green therapy can offer.
This group is an opportunity for you to get outdoors, meet new people, and enjoy the benefits that nature can bring for our mental health and wellbeing. We will use mindfulness techniques to walk at a pace which is inclusive for everyone and will notice things you may have never seen at Mote Park before!
If you’ve been looking for the opportunity to get out and enjoy the longer days and the warmer weather, then why not get involved? This group is a great opportunity for you to get a spring in your step and make the most of the warmer months.
Sessions run every Monday from 9:30am – 11:30am.
You can choose to join us at our Wellbeing Centre from 9:30am for a longer walk, or you can meet us at Mote Park from 10am for a shorter walk. We encourage you to choose whatever feels most comfortable for you!
