Coping with Life A five-week programme helping you to learn more about managing your Mental Health.


Mid Kent Mind have made changes to the way our courses are working whilst we operate remotely. Our Coping with Life courses are still available on a flexible timetable, so please contact our team to find out when you can access the next date and time for this course.

To access a course, you must be registered with Live Well Kent. This can be done by completing an easy online referral form. 


Coping with Life is a five week programme which aims to support people with better managing key areas of their mental health. Over the course of five weeks, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how to:

Manage Anxiety

This course provides participants with an understanding of what anxiety is and how it is maintained. You will learn skills to lower anxiety, it’s causes and how to deal with fight or flight situations.

Manage Depression

Participants are enabled to understand the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that create depression. You will develop skills that will help to change this cycle, and you will also learn how to use coping tools to deal with times when you are feeling low.

Manage Stress

You will receive help with identifying the causes and effects of stress. You will learn practical skills to help you manage your stress more effectively, and will learn ways of reducing stress, so it is manageable for you.
