This weekend, Nicola is tackling the London Marathon on behalf of Mid Kent Mind – raising money in memory of her friend Ken. You can read her personal message:
“I will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October in memory of our friend Ken, taken way too soon. I will be thinking of him and his lovely family every mile (all 26.2 of them) xxxx”
We are very grateful to Nicola for choosing to take on this challenge on our behalf. The London Marathon is a fantastic, large-scale fundraising event which not only raises funds for us at a time when the financial climate is increasingly challenging – but it also encourages open conversations around mental health, too.
