As an organisation, we are aware that people are not always to access the courses and training opportunities that we provide during our more traditional nine-to-five operating hours. Whilst we all continue to work from home, and continue to offer these courses virtually, we wanted to experiment with offering later-evening sessions for people who may not otherwise be able to access them.
We currently have two of our Mindfulness and Me evening sessions available for £10 per person. You can find more details about this programme below.
This programme is a virtual adaptation of our prior-delivered Mindfulness and Me programme, aimed to be accessible for adults.
The programme focusses on teaching individuals more about mindfulness – and how they can acknowledge and accept their thoughts, feelings and body sensations in positive ways.
The course is designed to help people to understand how Mindfulness can be a beneficial tool when it comes to building emotional resilience – helping people to manage their mental health proactively so that they can prevent themselves from experiencing periods of mental ill health.
The hope is that the skills and techniques people take away from this programme will have a farther-reaching impact for their wellbeing in the future – meaning that although the course is only five weeks, the impact it has should be much longer-lasting.
