Mind The Knife - Web Slide

Mid Kent Mind and Youth Resilience UK CIC have partnered up to explore how supporting young people with developing their emotional resilience can prevent them from falling into crime. This has been made possible with funding from the Kent and Medway Violence Reduction Unit.

Over the course of a  FREE five-week programme, young people will have the opportunity to explore practical ideas about how they can keep themselves safe without breaking the law. This will be combined with a resilience-driven focus, encouraging young people to build and develop positive coping strategies which will help to boost both their self-esteem and confidence, leading to an improved self-image.

Each session will last for approximately 90 minutes.

You can learn more about how the programme helps young people in this short documentary piece we produced:

We are currently offering courses on two different dates, with sessions available for two-different age categories. Spaces on each session are limited, so please either complete the contact form found below or e-mail bookings@midkentmind.org.uk for more details.

Young people are still welcome to book onto dates which have started. They will have an opportunity to catch up with the programme contents and will still be able to benefit from attendance.
