Mental Health Awareness is a 3-hour interactive session which acts as a perfect introduction to the concept of ‘mental health’. Attendees will learn more about common mental health problems, their prevalence, and the signs and symptoms of poor mental health. This course is perfect for people wanting to learn more about mental health, but is also ideal for professionals who are perhaps looking to refresh their knowledge.
The first half will cover some of the following areas:
- What is Mental Health and how prevalent are problems
- What is stress, anxiety and depression
- What do signs of anxiety and depression look like and how can we help
