As a part of the Reaching Communities Programme, young people who complete our courses and return feedback will be entered into a prize draw.
We are pleased to share that we are introducing a brand-new programme of Wellbeing Calligraphy for young people as a part of the Reaching Communities programme, with additional funding generously provided by the Herne Bay Umbrella Centre.
Courses will be delivered virtually via ZOOM, and are facilitated by our partner organisation, Youth Resilience UK.
This will take the form of a three-week Calligraphy course which will encourage young people to learn basic skills around calligraphy. As a part of the group they will have the opportunity to learn how to create name tags and place cards.
The hope is that this group will encourage young people to develop new skills and interests – benefitting their wellbeing during an otherwise difficult and challenging period of time.
The course will last for three weeks and has been tailored for young people between the ages of 11 & 17.
Spaces must be booked ahead of time as Mid Kent Mind will be providing participants with a basic calligraphy writing set to use during these sessions, free-of-charge.
As this is a resource-intensive programme spaces are limited to just 8 people, so book today to avoid disappointment!
