Do you know a young person who is struggling with periods of self isolation? Perhaps the lack of a day-to-day school routine is having a detrimental impact on their mental health and wellbeing?
Well, Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind have introduced a special digital version of our ‘Mindfulness and Me’ courses – designed to provide young people with crucial support at a time when they can really benefit from it.
Mindfulness and Me is a course which will teach young people aged 11-18 more about mindfulness, and how they can acknowledge and accept their thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations. We will aim to do this by explaining and exploring mindfulness through interactive games and activities which will engage young people.
The course will take the format of five one-hour sessions which looking at your young person’s mental wellbeing, and help to teach them the techniques to be more mindful.
All five sessions will be delivered via ZOOM.
To help people who may be struggling in these troublesome times, we have decided to offer the entire course for just £10 per person (Meaning it will cost just £2 per session).
