Wellbeing & Resilience Action Plan (WRAP)

A Personalised Plan to help you progress forwards.

WRAPs are Mid Kent Mind’s personalised one-to-one wellbeing coaching sessions. It aims to provide people with the opportunity to access support sessions that are built around their mental health and any problems or difficulties they may experience in everyday life.

Our Wellbeing workers will guide you through these person-centred sessions in the hopes to empower you to identify areas where you may struggle and take proactive steps in those areas to boost both your confidence and your emotional resilience by developing more effective coping skills.

We won’t just work with you to address the problems you’re experiencing now – we’ll work with you to build your understanding and your knowledge, so you are better equipped to proactively manage life’s ups and down.

Some of the common areas explored during WRAP Sessions can include:

  • Managing my wellbeing and anger
  • Physical Health and Self-Care
  • Living skills and responsibilities
  • Social Networks
  • Relationships
  • Identity and Self-Esteem
  • Aspirations
  • Challenging and/ or addictive behaviours

Whilst these are common areas addressed during these sessions, your sessions will be individual to you. In short – you’re in control of the sessions you access, and the areas which you wish to cover.  Our Adult WRAP sessions last for six weeks – with each week consisting of a one-hour session with one of our Wellbeing Workers.

By the end of the six weeks, we hope to have helped you to overcome adversities, and to have equipped you with the tools to confidently address the challenges you may face in the future.

Due to ongoing remote working as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic, all of our sessions are taking place virtually via ZOOM.
