Forest Bathing In Wye

Forest Bathing At Wye Nature Reserve Our team-building wild adventure.

On the 14th of October 2022 our team had the opportunity to take an adventure out to the Wye Nature Reserve thanks to some generous funding from Natural England – enabling us to take part in a Forest Bathing session amongst the beautiful landscape.

We were joined by Jules and Jayne from Be Naturally – who delivered a fantastic session which encouraged us to take in our surroundings and make the most of being out in a beautiful and isolated part of the Kent countryside. It was lovely getting to have the opportunity to really take the time to immerse ourselves in our environment – taking a break from the often busy day-to-day working lives we lead.

Some of our staff said the following about the session:

“I enjoyed taking the time away from a usually busy working day to be immersed in my surroundings.”

“It was an insightful and relaxing couple of hours connecting with nature by being more aware of my senses.”

“It was nice getting to explore somewhere new.”

“It was nice to be outdoors with beautiful surroundings. It made me feel relaxed and happy.”

You can see some photographs from our Forest Bathing session below. We hope you enjoy a closer look at the gorgeous landscape found at the Wye Nature reserve!

We want to say a huge thanks to everyone involved in making this session possible. It was great for our team to have the opportunity to get out of the office and try something new. Many of us had our own initial thoughts around what ‘Forest Bathing’ may be – but we all found enjoyment in the session, and left the day with a greater connection to nature.

We really appreciate Molly funding this session, and Jayne and Jules for providing such an insightful walkthrough.
