Mental Health Awareness Training sessions helping people to understand more about common mental health problems.

Please note – current sessions are available to people living in Maidstone, Ashford and Swale.

One in four of us experience a mental health problem every year – although that number is much more likely to now be one in three. Our Mental Health Awareness training aims to build awareness of the prevalence of mental health, but also help people to understand the particular problems and challenges which others may be facing.

We currently offer two courses that are open to anyone living in Maidstone and Swale:

Stress, Anxiety and Depression. This course helps people to understand how stress is a contributing factor to nearly every mental health problem, and also explores in more detail what Anxiety and Depression are and the signs and symptoms of these problems.

Self-Harm. This course helps people to understand why someone may choose to self-harm, and the alternatives which can be put in place to help a person to find other methods of coping.

Our Mental Health Awareness Training can be delivered in either a virtual or a face-to-face capacity.

If you are interested in booking this course for your business or organisation, then please get in touch with our training team by contacting training@midkentmind.org.uk.
